Introduction to Pranayama Therapy

Pranayama Therapy was invented by Mr. Ramneek Wig in the year 2004. Earlier to this pranayama was never used as a therapy in itself. Mr. Ramneek Wig was diagnosed with cancer in the year 1998. He got his treatment done at Delhi in the year 1999. Therafter, it he again got a relapse of cancer by the end of 1999 itself. Mr. Wig had his bone marrow transplant done at the University of California, Irvine Medical Centre in the year 2000.

Mr. Wig did fine for the next couple of years until 2003 when he was again struck by the disease. This time the cancer was much more aggressive, and the doctors in India thought it to be a hopeless case. He was given 1 month to live on the outerside. Mr. Wig flew to America, and this time he contacted a research center for cancer in the US known as the University of Southern California. There he underwent aggressive chemotherapy treatment for the next 6 months.

After the treatment was completed the doctors in the United States gave him a mere 1 percent chance of a cure. According to the doctors in the US, the maximum life which Mr. Wig had now was about one year on the outerside. This led Mr. Wig to start practicing different breathing exercises on his own, which finally resulted in him inventing Pranayama Therapy.

Mr. Wig has also done a Diploma in Yoga and Naturopathy from Lal Bhadur Shastri University at New Delhi. He came first in the University, and was given a Gold Medal
for his outstanding performance.

Mr. Wig is the author of several books, and is a great motivational speaker. He regularly holds workshops on Pranayama Therapy in India and abroad.
